How to Get More Sales from BetterVisitors Traffic (or Any Traffic)

You’re probably saying, “Mike, you’re crazy to even say that! Why would you say something negative like that?”

Because I know why they get zero sales, and if you’re getting zero sales, you’ll want to know too. It’s not our traffic, and it’s not their product. There’s one difference between customers who report strong sales and those who get nothing — bad landing pages!

A landing page just means the first page your customer sees. It’s the URL you give to BetterVisitors when you order traffic. The landing page is your customer’s first impression of you, and (once you get the customer there) there’s nothing more important to making a sale.

There are proven techniques to make your landing pages convert. (It can take a little time — but it sure beats working!) Here’s one: the most important one. This technique definitely works with the expired domain traffic from BetterVisitors, but it’ll work with just about any kind of traffic.

Pretend for a minute that *you’re* the customer. Let’s say you’re looking for vitamins. As you go from site to site looking for what you need, when do you stop and pay attention? That’s right — when you see the word “vitamins”. That’s because people don’t read anything on the Net. (Read? That’s for people with time!) Instead, people scan the Net, and the way that they scan is by looking for keywords, bold graphics, and anything else that catches their attention.

Now, go back to being the seller. If you’re selling vitamins, you want to catch your customer’s attention by using the keyword “vitamin” in an attention-grabbing way. Like a very large headline that makes the customer stop and pay attention. Something like “Can Vitamins Enhance Your Sex Life?” In other words, a headline that contains your keyword and ALSO grabs your customer in a different way — in this case, by talking about sex! (Who doesn’t respond to that?)
